As both a UI/UX Designer and Cybersecurity Analyst, I bring a rare combination to the table. My journey began in design — crafting intuitive, engaging experiences that delight customers and drive business goals.

Over time I grew a passion for cybersecurity, recognizing that the best products aren't only beautiful and functional but also secure. That dual lens lets me design with security from the ground up, never as an afterthought.

SkillTeach is an AI-powered learning platform that helps students, professionals, educators, and job seekers improve their communication skills through realistic practice sessions. Users can rehearse teaching, job interviews, business pitches, and presentations while receiving personalized AI feedback to improve confidence, clarity, and delivery.

Problem

Many students, job seekers, educators, and professionals struggle with public speaking, interviews, and presentations because they rarely have access to realistic practice environments or immediate constructive feedback. Existing learning platforms focus primarily on consuming content instead of allowing users to actively practice and improve their communication skills in a safe, repeatable environment.

Served as the Technical Controls & Risk Assessment Lead during a governance and cybersecurity assessment engagement for a client. I coordinated the technical controls review process, evaluated security control effectiveness, identified control gaps, reviewed supporting evidence, and provided remediation recommendations to improve the organization's security posture. I also collaborated with cross-functional teams to support risk assessment, NIST CSF maturity mapping, and executive audit readiness.

Problem

Client required an assessment of its cybersecurity governance and technical security controls to determine its level of compliance, identify security gaps, evaluate existing control effectiveness, and improve overall audit readiness. The engagement also required structured reporting aligned with recognized security frameworks.
